Leftover Pie

Leftover Pie

If you’re like us you are sick of eating turkey with the dwindling amount of trimmings for every meal. With the tile grouting going on the stove is off limits right now so that meant it was turkey for dinner again. So, what was I to do? Make leftover pie that’s what. Here’s how you do it…

Leftover Pie PrepLeftover Pie

  • 2 of your favorite pie crusts (mine is Pillsbury refrigerated but you could make it from scratch)
  • leftover mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, meat, and veggies

Place the first crust in the bottom of a pie plate. Fill with assorted leftovers chopped into bite-sized pieces if necessary. Stir to make sure there are bits of everything in each slice. Top with gravy if you have some. Put the second pie crust on top of the pie. Crimp the edges with a fork. Cut some vents in the top crust. Stick it in a 350′ oven for about an hour. Serve.

Looks like you have a little helper there and she appears to be taking her task at hand quite seriously!

The pie looks yummy! What a great idea! I usually make a turkey tetrazzini with my leftovers.
