Modeling girl’s clothes again. This time the pom-pom sweater is for N whose mommy and I decided to do a little swap. Katrina is in love with the make-along over at Wee Wonderfuls and has been begging for an Olive and Archie of her own. By my estimation you really have to get the dolls right for the whole making along to work since many of the additional patterns are items for the dolls — like clothes, etc. So, fully realizing my limits I knew I couldn’t make them for her.
It turns out Alicia was very fond of the sweater I made Katrina for Christmas — which as it turns out Katrina is not too fond of, hrmph — so I suggested we make a trade. Don’t you love the web? You can see Alicia‘s photo of what she sent here. This is the photo that Katrina took, not quite as good…

Pattern: BAM Toddler Jacket by Joanne Turcotte for Plymouth (the pattern is out of print, more info on getting it here)
Yarn: Plymouth Encore (I used two strands), in color 233; Crystal Palace Yarns Popcorn, in color 435 (Blueberries-Grapes)
Yardage: less than two 200 yard skeins of the Encore and less than three 73 yard skeins of the Popcorn
Needles: US size 13
Gauge: 2.5 st/in
